Sacred Heart Hospital embarked on a three year, $20 million process to enhance the patient experience. This phased project replaces a 9-floor curtain wall system, including demolition and replacement of exterior veneer curtain wall structures, glass and metal panels, and glazing. The project also replaces the heating and cooling induction units in every patient room. This project significantly changes the look of the hospital, and most importantly, enhances safety and creates a more comfortable healing environment.
The Samuels Group provided general contracting services including budgeting, scheduling, mock-ups, and pre-construction work to support architectural design. We partnered with OSHA to support the Agency’s Strategic Plan by developing strategies to improve safety and health in the construction industry.
Sacred Heart Hospital received a 2017 Excellence in Partnering Award.
